The last few weeks

Two weeks ago, we had a very busy week. It was Warren’s drill weekend. Ruxin didn’t like that Daddy left Friday night. Warren is a big part of the nightly routine with Ruxin, and without him here, Ruxin was not about to sleep.

On Saturday night Warren and I went to the Military Ball in Idaho Falls. It was a lot of fun for the both of us to get out of the house and have a date night. Grandma Sandy was nice enough to watch Ruxin so that I could go. At the Ball a few couples had their babies their and it made Warren and I wish that we had brought him with us. We kind of like the little guy!

During the week Warren and I were getting things ready for Ruxins Baby Blessing that Sunday. He was six weeks old when we blessed him. His daddy did a great job. We also had a very special visitor that day. Cooper and Allie were very excited because they had not seen grandma Smith for more than a year. you could see it in their faces that they were happy.

Allie brought her baby doll to church and would do everything Grandma Smith would do ( ok she takes a baby doll everywhere since Ruxin came along).  Warren would ask how the baby was doing, and Allie would say “that she changed her baby and burped her but she was still fussy.”

We had a little dinner after the blessing. It was nice to have the family get together and visit.

This past week we had to take Grandma Smith to the airport. We didn’t want her to go, we thought about just making her stay with us! We cant wait to see her again with Grandpa Smith.

I also had an appointment with a Gynecologist/Oncologist specialist doctor in Riverton, UT. Talk about a really long drive for news that wasn’t what we/I wanted to here. Since Ruxin is a formula I was told that they could take out the fibroids that he had to fight for room with. Well the Doctor told me that I had to wait until the middle of December to have an MRI to determine which ones if any can be taken out so we still have the option to have more kids. So we are waiting for December.

Cooper and Allie came over this weekend. We love when they come, so does Ruxin. The kids love to play on the computers. We were all in the living room and the kids were playing games while Ruxin was laying on the floor. Well he could see them and hear them but for some reason they werent playing with him. So like all babies do, he starts to cough. Coop asked me whats wrong with him. I told them that he is trying to get their attention.

Later that day we order some pictures and went to pick them up. Cooper and Allie were talking about something. All I got out of the converstation was Allie Telling Cooper “that’s enough chatty chat chatting Cooper.” she says that funniest things. warren and I got a pretty good laugh from it.

We love to start fires. The smell and the cozy feeling, make for the perfect day. Since I have been with Warren, I have been told and have witnessed that the Smith boys like FIRE! Why throw something away when we came just burn it. Gee never would have thought about that.

Well I do believe that Ruxin will follow suit when it comes to flames. He loved looking at it. He was so excited when the fire was big. So all day Saturday and Sunday we had a fire going.

Some pictures of the kids playing with the computers.
